DER NEUE WUSV UNIVERSALSIEGER-WETTBEWERB 2011 IN ÖSTERREICH
The new 2011 WUSV – Universal Sieger Competition in Austria • La nueva Competición de Sieger Universal de 2011 WUSV en Austria

WUSV-Universalsieger
rules
The Universal Sieger will be determined in a
single competition consisting of the combination
of a SchH3 tournament and a special Breed
Show.
The award of the Universal Sieger title will be
determined from the combination of results from
both events. Only those dogs participating in
both events will receive a ranking.
The participants will be ranked according to
their performances in the SchH tournament and
the Breed Show (males/bitches will be separate).
Participants will receive points equal to their
ranking in the SchH tournament. In case of a
tie, the higher protection score will determine
the placing, and then the obedience score.
In the Breed Show, dogs will be evaluated and
placed as in an ordinary Breed Show. This will
be done separately for males and bitches.
The Universal Sieger competitors will be separated
by sex but not by age in the Breed Show.
Dogs will be placed in order but no critique or
show rating will be given. It is possible to have
a separate critique upon request.
The participants will be awarded points for the
show placing in the same manner as in #4.
The points awarded in the SchH tournament
and in the Breed Show will be added together.
The participants with the best results (ideal
score is 1+1=2) will be awarded the Universal
Sieger title (males/bitches). The other participants
will be listed according to increasing combined
scores. In case of a tie, the best placing in the SchH
tournament will determine the winner.
Dogs that do not receive a passing score in the
SchH tournament will be placed at the bottom
of the list without regard to the actual number
of points received.
Prerequisites for participation in the WUSV-Universal
Sieger competition
The participants must be nominated by their respective
national club.
There must be proof that the nominated dogs
possess the following prerequisites:
Valid SchH 3 title
Minimum show rating of “Good“ at the age of at
least 12 months

Change in the racial standards of the hair style "Longhaired with undercoat"

Due to the decision in the Federal Assembly in 2008 and 2009, the SV has applied to the FCI to include in the breed standard of the German Shepherd dogs with the hair style "Longhaired with undercoat" as a separate variety.

The FCI has now agreed to this request with effect from 1.1.2011.

This means that from 1.1.2011 German Shepherds with the hair style "Longhaired with undercoat"

- Can participate in Bonitations,

- Can participate in dog shows. The organizers can set up your own classes for dogs with this hair style. It is not possible to install with mixed classes haired and long-haired dogs,

- Are approved for breeding. This is important to note that fixtures are permitted only between dogs with the same hair style (stick hair stick hair, hair-long stick with Longhaired). Pairings between haired and Longhaired dogs are not allowed.

Below you will find to your further information, the amended version of the breed standard:

1st Coat, item "texture of the hair"

And substitute:
Hair: The German Shepherd is bred in the hair and Longhaired Haarvarietäten floor - both with an undercoat -.

Stock Hair:
The outer coat is as close as possible, just harsh and firm fitting. On the head, including ear-tion of the interior, just at the front of legs, feet and toes in, hairy on the neck a little longer and stronger. At the back of the legs, the hair extended to the pre-tarsal joint and the hock, on the back of the thighs it forms moderate pants.

Longhaired:
The outer coat is long, soft, and not be close fitting, according to flags on ears and legs, bushy pants and bushy tail with plume formation below. At the top of the ear, including the interior, at front of legs, feet and toes in short, the neck longer and more hairy, almost forming a mane. At the back of the legs, the hair extended to the knee in or to the hock and forms at the back of the legs clear pants.

2nd Negative error

And substitute:
........
k) Longhaired without undercoat

Please also refer to the dog show, breeding and Körordnung order on our website, which already contains the new rules.
